Sweet Homes of Edgartown - Gingerbread House Competition
Step into the sweetest holiday tradition on Martha’s Vineyard! Join us for the Gingerbread House Competition during Christmas in Edgartown, where imagination and icing take center stage.
From whimsical cottages to grand confectionary castles, entries from bakers and builders of all ages are warmly invited. Whether you’re a seasoned architect of sugar or a first-time creator, this is your chance to share your festive flair and spread some holiday cheer!
All entries will be proudly displayed for public viewing on Saturday and Sunday, 10 AM – 3 PM, where visitors can vote for their favorites. Prizes will be awarded based on community votes — so bring your friends, family, and holiday spirit to cheer on your favorite creations!
Enjoy free hot chocolate (while supplies last) as you stroll among the gingerbread masterpieces and soak up the magic of the season. There’s no entry fee, but donations to benefit the Martha’s Vineyard Animal Shelter are warmly encouraged — because giving back to our furry friends is the sweetest treat of all.
